- Can anyone out there help?
-
- I have just bought myself a new monitor for my A1200. It is a
- MicroVitec 15" multisync, capable of displaying up to 1024*768
- non-interlaced at 80Hz vertical, and 1280*1024 non-interlaced at 60Hz
- vertical. Unfortunately none of the monitor drivers I have seems
- capable of displaying the same! The higest resolution I can achieve
- with any satifaction non-interlaced is 640*512 in DBLPAL High Res No
- Flicker mode, or 640*480 in MULTISCAN Productivity mode. I canget to
- 800*600 INTERLACED in Super72 Super-High Res Interlaced mode, but
- this does flicker... Are there any drivers out there with even a
- decent 800*600 mode, non interlaced? Higher would be nice...
-
- Sometimes when testing these higher resolutions I would see a grey band
- down the extreme right hand edge of the screen, obscuring the right
- hand scroll bars. This effect diminished as I used slightly smaller
- screen widths. Has anyone else seen similar effects? (As I write this
- I am unable to repeat it, so I cannot point to an exact method.)
-
- Also, I have been unable to get anything out of the VGAOnly driver. Does
- it need to be used in any special way?
-
- Please Email me with any specific questions or suggestions, as Demon's
- News system is struggling a little at the moment, so I may not be able
- to look at your replies often. I can get Email no problem.
-
- Thanks folks!
